You are invited to join us at All Saints Vista for our March Evensong on Wednesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m.
This month’s service reflects on the theme of brokenness and grace, inspired by the words: “There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.” Through prayer, music, and quiet reflection, we will gather in a sacred space that honors both our fractures and the holy light that shines through them.

“There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.” — Leonard Cohen
Leonard Cohen’s words remind us that brokenness is not the end of the story. The cracks in our lives — our disappointments, losses, doubts, and imperfections — are not signs of failure but openings through which grace can enter. What feels fractured may, in truth, be the very place where transformation begins.
In a spiritual sense, the quote speaks to the mystery of redemption: God does not wait for us to be whole and polished. Instead, divine light meets us in our vulnerability. The fissures we try to hide often become the very spaces where compassion grows, humility deepens, and Christ’s love becomes visible. What we see as damage, God can use as an invitation — an opening for healing, connection, and hope.
