This immersive class, led by Diocesan Photographer Susan Forsburg, Director of Communications Chris Tumilty, and Missioner for Community Vitality and Diversity Rachel Ambasing, is designed to illuminate the art of capturing the profound beauty and joy of church environments. Whether you’re a novice taking pictures with a cell phone or an experienced photographer looking to deepen your expertise, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills.

Throughout the day, you’ll explore lighting, composition, and the principles of respectful photography within a sacred church space. From the majestic architecture to the intimate moments of worship and community, learn how to frame and capture images that tell a story and evoke emotion.

Open to photographers of all levels; this workshop welcomes participants using any type of camera—from DSLRs and mirrorless cameras to the simplicity of a cell phone. Registration is required, with a modest fee of $15 to offset the cost of lunch and refreshments.
